COVID-19 Testing: To protect the health and well-being of the campus community, students, faculty and
staff are strongly encouraged to have a COVID-19 test.
Students returning to on-campus residence halls must have a COVID-19 test within 14
days of their arrival to campus.
Test results must be uploaded to sc.edu/MyHealthSpace.

COVID-19 diagnostic testing clinics are scheduled August 10, 11 and 12, from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m. at the Center for Health and Well-Being. Appointments required. Tests will
be done as nasal swabs.

Teletherapy and Telepsychiatry
We are now offering teletherapy and telepsychiatry appointments to UofSC students
residing in South Carolina who have been enrolled in the 2019-2020 academic year and
expect to return in fall 2020. To access teletherapy or telepsychiatry, students should
call 803-777-5223, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to be scheduled for a Teletherapy

site for plasma donations from people that have recoverd from COVID-19. This is part
of a national study by the U.S. Food and Drug Administation and the Mayo Clinic. locally,
the study is headed by the chair of internal medicine at the School of Medicine, Dr.

are working and studying remotely. These include stress management resources like
meditation and yoga; special programming; and games. Check back often as we will be

Mental Health EmergenciesMental health services for students in crisis are now available around the clock. Please call Counseling & Psychiatry at 803-777-5223 after hours to speak with a counselor
about urgent concerns. USC faculty and staff can also call at any time if they have
concerns about a student. All Counseling & Psychiatry appointments can be canceled
on MyHealthSpace . Get medication refills on My RX Space . Someone will follow up with you on the next business day if necessary.
